About Me

I believe in putting frontline insight and lived experience at the heart of social change.

I bring over a decade's experience of leadership and social impact – from developing new ventures, to delivering policy wins, to co-producing an award-winning justice podcast.

As Director of Impact & Influence at pioneering justice charity Switchback, I built an influencing function from scratch, helping to multiply the organisation’s reach and impact. This included supporting young prison-leavers to campaign successfully for real change – like doubling the prisoner discharge grant (the first increase in 25 years), and reaching thousands through Time & Again, winner of Best Arts & Culture Podcast at the British Podcast Awards 2023.

My work helped Switchback to support twice as many young people during the pandemic, grow income from £400,000 to £1.3 million, and win the prestigious Longford Prize for ‘outstanding humanity, courage, persistence and originality’ in criminal justice.

I’ve also worked as a frontline housing support worker at North London YMCA, at Shaw Trust reshaping national disability employment support, and developing small business policy and speechwriting for shadow ministers in parliament. After completing the Year Here Leadership Programme in Social Innovation, I co-founded the social enterprise Kitchenette Karts – a pink street food truck supporting young Londoners to build careers in food, backed by the Mayor of London. I’m now Chair of the Year Here Foundation, which widens access to social entrepreneurship among underrepresented groups.

With a sharp eye for problem-solving and a preference for action, I offer expert strategic, impact and influencing advice to improve organisations' impact and move closer to achieving their mission.
